Cert Badger monitors public Certificate Transparency (CT) logs. These logs are publicly available and contain information about SSL/TLS certificates issued by Certificate Authorities. We do not collect any private certificate data - only publicly logged certificates.

We use the following third-party services to operate Cert Badger:

  • Supabase - Database and authentication (data stored in secure cloud infrastructure)
  • Stripe - Payment processing (we do not store your payment card details)
  • Resend - Email delivery for notifications and alerts
  • Vercel - Web application hosting

Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and security measures.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active
  • Uptime check history is retained for 30 days
  • Alert history is retained for 90 days
  • Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days
